Syarikat SESCo Berhad is a wholl-owned subsidiaries of Sarawak Energy. Syarikat SESCo Berhad is responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in the State of Sarawak. Its Headquarters is located at Petra Jaya, Kuching, Sarawak.

 


Sejingkat Power Corporation Sdn Bhd

Sejingkat Power Corporation Sdn Bhd owns and manages Kuching Coal-Fired Power Station which is located on a 130-hectare land area situated by the side of Sarawak River adjacent to Kampung Goebilt in Muara Tebas. The power station has 2X50MW rated capacity coal-fired steam-turbine generating sets commisioned in 1998 under Phase 1 Development. Two additional generating sets, each of 55MW rated capacity, were installed and commisioned in 2004 under Phase 2 Development.

The additional generation capacity is to meet the system demand growth and at the same time to further enhance the security of electricity supply, particularly in Kuching area.


Sarawak Power Generation Sdn Bhd

Sarawak Power Generation Sdn Bhd is located in Tanjung Kidurong, Bintulu, Sarawak. It owns a 2X110MW open-cycle gas turbine power plant. The company has a license to develop, own and operate power generating facilities in Sarawak up to a total installed capacity of 1350MW.

Situated at Demak Laut Industrial Park, Kuching (formerly Sejingkat Industrial Park), Sarwaja Timur Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1994 to meet the growing demand for steelworks, especially in telecommunication, power transmission, as well as other major infra-structure development sectors. The company owns and operates a modern steel fabrication and hot-dip galvanizing plant, and has commenced commercial operations of its tower testing station which is the only one of its kind in South East Asia in early 2004.
