Customer Service

As Sarawakians, we've always been known for our awarmth and friendliness. And that’s something Sarawak Energy puts to good use every day in connecting with our customers, be it new applications, bill payments or even just general enquiries. We’ve even extended that courtesy online.

SERVICES AVAILABLE

(1) GENERAL ENQUIRY

Enquiries such as meter reading, account balance and non-receipt of bills.

Please provide Contract Account number, NRIC, or meter serial number during the enquiry.

(2) APPLICATION FOR ELECTRICITY SUPPLY

Customer to approach the Customer Service Counter. The following documents are required:

  • Photocopy of NRIC
  • Registered Sales & Purchase Agreement/Land
  • Title/Tenancy Agreement/Offer Letter Memorandum of Transfer where applicable
  • Consent Letter from Partner (if any)
  • Business Registration Document (if registered under a company name)
  • Company stamp (if registered under a company name)
The contract can only be signed by the rightful owner.
Payment of Collateral Deposit under the new contract.
Stamp Duty (RM10.00 per contract).
(3) CHANGE OF NAME All customers are required to change the name on the contract as soon as they buy or rent a premise. Settlement of any outstanding bill is required.

  • Business Registration Document (if registered under a company name)
  • Company stamp (if registered under a company name)
(4) REQUEST FOR METER TESTING Customers may call or walk-in to Customer Services Counter or write to Syarikat SESCO Berhad.
Contract account number must be provided.
Meter testing fee of RM10.00 shall be charged if the meter is accurate.
(5) DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION OF ELECTRICITY SUPPLY UPON REQUEST Customers may walk in to Customer Services Counter or write to Syarikat SESCO Berhad.
Contract account number and copy of NRIC must be provided.
The request form must be signed by the registered customer only.
(6) REFUND OF COLLATERAL DEPOSIT The original deposit receipt shall be surrendered.

If original receipt is lost:

  • The registered customer must sign a Letter of Indemnity, affixed with Stamp Duty (RM10.00 per contract).
  • In any other complex cases or particulars does not match against the record, a Statutory Declaration is required.
  • Any request on behalf of the registered owner who is deceased, the Statutory Declaration or Letter of Administration shall be provided.
